Kevin Scott Maddox II  was born May 31, 1985 in Columbus, GA. to Kevin Scott Maddox, Sr. and Donna Joe Herron Maddox.  After 25 short years of life he sadly departed from us. A very intelligent young man, Kevin was educated in the public schools in Columbus, Oh. Kevin had a strong faith and was baptized at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic church. Kevin was a kindhearted person who touched many lives and helped anyone he could. If ever anyone needed a laugh Kevin was there to make the day better. Kevin liked sports his favorite college football team The Ohio state buckeyes. Family was important to Kevin and he made sure that they knew how much they meant to him.
Survivors include, significant other, Brandy Ellison; Daughter, Kiyona Maddox; mother, Donna Maddox  and step father Barry Sheppard; father, Kevin Maddox; Siblings, Ashley, Anthony, Gabrielle, Tiffany Maddox; grandparents, Carol Maddox, Lucy Herron and George Sheppard, Sr.;  numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by son, Kevin Scott Maddox III, brother, Ant'tuan M. Sheppard,  grandparents Rev. Hiram Sidney Maddox Jr., Geneva B. Thomas Maddox, Joseph Edward Herron and Ora D. Sheppard; step brother Antuan Sheppard.
We will always love and remember our son, grandson, brother, father, nephew, cousin and friend. Kevin lived life to the fullest; acquired much, shared from his abundance and changed peoples lives. Friends may call Monday 5-8 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E.
