DUPLER (CARTER)
Sylvia “Dee” Dupler reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on Sunday. She was born in Carter County, KY. on April 3, 1923.
Survived by husband John Dudley, daughter JoAnn Harvath, KS.: granddaughter, Angela (Captain Jeremy) Visker and great-granddaughter London Bailey, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.: grandson Joey (Izumi) Kinoshita and great-grandchildren Natsuki and Rintura of Fukuoka, Japan: step-sisters H. May Hanford and Linda Lou Herines: stepbrother Tony Carter. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Harve and Minnie Carter. She was the only remaining sibling in a family of twelve children. Eleven brothers and sisters preceding her in death: Chester, Eskel, Oakie, Denver, Clyde, Lester, Ivory, Reba, Jean, Oretha and Infant Baby Boy Carter.
She served loyal customers and made many friends for more than 27 years at the Grandview Inn and DaVinci Ristaurante.
Sylvia lit up our lives with her enduring love, sincere interest, and compassion for people everywhere.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road, 451.5900. Graveside Service at New Lexington Cemetery, 12 Noon on Thursday.
