Elizabeth M. Hauss, age 100, Saturday August 14, 2010. Graduate of Grant Hospital Nursing School. Retired from Franklin County Board of Health and Whitehall Schools where she served as Head of Nursing. Member of St. Catharine Parish. Preceded in death by husband, John; daughter-in-law, Lola M. Hauss; parents, Samuel and Clara Roderick; brothers, Sam, Dick and Tom; sister, Jayne Roderick. Survived by son, John F. and daughter, Mary Jane Hauss and her beautiful family of friends; grandchildren, Monica (Jay) Baker and Mandi (Matt) McDermott; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Catharine Church 500 S. Gould Rd. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to any Hospice organization.
