A celebration of life service for Donald “Duck” O’Reilly 55, of Newark, Ohio, will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11AM at the Criss Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville St., Newark, Ohio.

Don passed away at the Licking Memorial Hospital on Friday August 27, 2010 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Thornport, Ohio on April 7, 1955 to the late Clarence and Blanche (Peyton) O’Reilly. He was a graduate of Licking Valley High School class of ’74. After courting Miss Debra K. Morin for over 2years, he finally convinced her to marry him on August 11, 1979. They shared over 31 years together. Don spent his career in the tree farm industry, and loved his work. An outdoorsman and an avid motorcycle enthusiast, he could be found outside tinkering with something, riding his bike or reading his favorite Louise Lamoure novel; but what put the smile on his face was when his daughter Amy would walk into the room. Don will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his wife Debra and daughter Amy, Don is survived by his siblings; Tom (Peggy) O’Reilly, Ronnie (Sandy) O’Reilly, Judy (Randy) Turnbill, and JoAnn Crow; Future son-in-law Andrew Zamora; sister-in-law Sharon O’Reilly, and many other loving nieces ,nephews, relatives and friends.
