A memorial service, celebrating the life of Robert Lee Lundfelt, Sr., 85, of Granville, will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with full military honors by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Robert died Sunday evening, August 29, 2010 in Newark following an extended illness. He was born June 15, 1925 in Renovo, PA., the son of the late Frank & Viola (Coover) Lundfelt. He was a graduate of the Renovo High School, served honorably in the US Navy during WWII and retired from Lucent Technologies, Columbus, following many years of service as a supervisor.

He was of the Lutheran faith, and was a member of Buckeye Lake Eagles #2801, and the American Legion Post 442 of Renovo, PA.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife, the former Nancy Kaiser, his children: Robert (Linda) Lundfelt Jr. of Granville, Donald (Brenda) Lundfelt of Pickerington and Robin (Jim) Long of Reynoldsburg; his six grandchildren: Andrew, Ashley, Bethany, Josh, Baileigh  and Jamie; his brother Lindy Lundfelt of Mantua, N.J. and his sister Alene Burrows of Renovo, PA.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
