ADDISON Nancy K. Addison, age 58, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, December 9, 2010 at her home in Sunbury, Ohio, surrounded by her family and pets. She was born on March 18, 1952 to Charles and Elizabeth Gray both deceased. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 15 years, John; her daughter, Kelly J. Vaughn of Sparks, Maryland; her son and family, Curtis W. Vaughn of Bristow, Virginia, his wife, Trisha, granddaughter, Colette; her daughter and family, Catie Mehl of Dublin, Ohio, her husband, Jim, grandson, Cole, granddaughter, Lydia; her brother and his family, Gary Gray of Lisbon, Ohio, his wife Carol, their sons, Brian, Adam and Nate; her dog, Sedona and her cats, Maggie and Buddy. Nancy was a graduate of Hilliard High School and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and had completed 3 years of study at the Clayton College of Natural Health. Nancy was a Holistic Health Counselor and enjoyed success with many clients and other service providers until she became ill. She enjoyed training and raising horses all of her life and was very successful competitively at the national and international level for the Arabian breed. She had a smile that would light up a room and always gave loving, positive energy to those she met. Nancy enjoyed the outdoors and had rescued many animals throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who had a deep unconditional love for her family. We will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held at the Rodman Funeral Service located at 5464 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214, just south of Worthington between Morse Road and Dublin-Granville Road on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Reverend Serena will begin at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you donate to the Delaware County, Council For Older Adults, Food Nutrition Services, 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015 or a charity of your choice.

At the beginning of the last century, Delaware was a bustling community. Morrison and his son Arthur. In 1955, a second Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home was added in the town of Ashley at 307 East Hight Street to serve the community needs in the Northern reaches of Delaware County. In 2000, a new Home was added to Columbus to serve Franklin County, the name of this new Home is Rodman Funeral Service.
