POGAN, Mary Rose Jurovcik, 88, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Friday February 4, 2011.
Mary was born in Blaine, Ohio on January 5, 1923, a daughter of the late Stephen and Annie Matava Jurovcik.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Michael Pogan in 1990; four brothers: Steve, John, Joseph and Frank Jurovcik, and a sister Annie Musica.
She was a retired employee of Gould Co., a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Catholic Women’s Club.
Mary is survived by a son, John Pogan and his wife Anna of Flushing, Ohio; a daughter, Suzanne DeVaul and her husband James of Englewood, Fla., three grandchildren: Sharrie and Michael Kilgore and Rebecca Schuler; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday 3 to 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m..
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Reverend John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine. Offer online condolences at www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
