Jacqueline Matney, age 82, of Carroll, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Sunrise of Worthington. Born February 9, 1929 to the late Nathan & Stella (Neal) Bellomy, she was a member of Shalom United Methodist Church and was active in both Canal Winchester and Groveport Senior Centers.

     Survived by her son, Willis R. (Pam) Matney, Platteville, CO; daughter, Teresa A. (Ted) Evans, Westerville; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy & Anthony Matney, Melissa Jackson, Jennifer Stavrianou, Kimberly & Andrew Evans; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Boltz, Doris Fleitz & Joyce Stanfield; brothers, Al & John Bellomy; sister-in-law, Dolores Bivens; nieces and nephews.

     Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George W. Matney in 2002; sister, Clara Thomas; and brothers, Charles, Jerry, James, Roy & Nathan Bellomy.

     Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow at Betzer Cemetery.
